I barely post that Quaker Dave has switched from the old Quaker Agitator site to a new one at Friendly Witness, when the word comes that he's revived the old one, on Wordpress. So his stuff is now at The Quaker Agitator.

Sidebar Update

Not that anyone has missed me in my absence (only Blue Gal and Kevin seem ever to drop me emails), but I stuck my head up today like a groundhog -- maybe it's safe, now that Alberto is departing. I observe that I have been permalinked by a site new to me called Friendly Witness. It seems to be the new site of (my previously sidebar-linked) Quaker Agitator, which hasn't posted at the old place since February. (Wow, do I feel out of touch.) Quaker Dave, with his new and less aggressive title, is still finding good things, like this tale of medieval gay civil unions. Bravo for him.

Yes, I Take This Personally

For a couple of years now I’ve been waiting for the Rovinator to be indicted, so that I could post my version of part of Handel's Messiah in celebration. They’ve just tossed him overboard now so that when justice does come down on his head, he can be pardoned quickly and easily — no longer being part of the misadministration — and I won’t have anything to cheer about for more than a few minutes. Yes, this is all about me. Oh, expletive deleted! Why does W not want me to have any fun?
